I cannot say enough wonderful things about Inlet Hearing in Port Moody, BC. I have worn Oticon brand hearing aids for the past three years and recently began experiencing issues where the hearing aids were no longer holding a charge for a full day. It became extremely stressful and honestly a little frightening, because there were periods during the day where I simply could not hear. I called Inlet Hearing, explained my urgent concern, and they arranged an appointment for me the very next day. From the moment I arrived, Cynthia and Yin were compassionate, attentive, and genuinely caring. They took the time to listen carefully, thoroughly examined my hearing aids, replaced the battery, wire, and domes — and just like that, my hearing aids were working like new again. What truly stood out was not only their expertise, but the level of kindness, understanding, and professionalism they showed throughout the entire experience. I did not feel like “just another client.” I felt valued, supported, and truly cared for as part of the Inlet Hearing family. Exceptional customer service, outstanding technical knowledge, and genuine compassion are hard to find these days — but Cynthia and Yin absolutely delivered all three. I was reluctant to get my hearing tested let alone wearing hearing aids. My family convinced me to get a hearing test and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. They made me feel so comfortable, explained my test results and answered all my questions. Now I wear my hearing aids and notice a big improvement. People don't even notice I'm wearing them.

I had an urgent issue with a blocked ear just before Christmas and needed cleaning as soon as possible. I called several places with no answer and emailed many others who replied a day later. Inlet Hearing picked up the phone right away and gave me a last-minute appointment. The doctor did an excellent job and took the time to properly clean both of my ears. Very reasonable pricing and great customer service. Highly recommended

I have needed to wear hearing aids since 2011. This past year I experienced problems with my original model even after several replacements. Comparing the new hearing aids currently in the market I learned about the new style that lets you hear naturally and not only at where you’re looking. One of these newer hearing aids is the "Oticon" brand sold by Inlet Hearing. The hearing portion of the hearing aid is a preformed earpiece made after a number of plastic impressions of the ear canal close to the inner ear and are made, tested to fit properly and comfortably. The hearing aid is electronically powered by built-in rechargeable batteries. I strongly recommend that if you are having difficulty hearing, or looking for more advanced hearing aids, that Cynthia and her team can find the right model for your budget and fit for your ears! I had an earwax removal appointment with Ms. Yin. She was very patient and throughout the visit she continued to check in with me to see that I was ok and not in any discomfort. 5 stars!
