ReviewsKudos to Liv at NEXGEN HEARING in Squamish. Travelling through town and needed some minor help with my Phonak hearing aid. Liv was polite, friendly and helpful even though I wasn't a NEXGEN customer - allowed the rest of our trip to be even more enjoyable. Many thanks!
We struggle going into water and in loud places. Dr Narayanan made custom earplugs for me and my daughter. These are god send and have improved our lifes a lot. Highly recommend the service
The Dr was lovely but the “free hearing test” I booked actually cost $85. Fee was not discussed or disclosed in advance, just a credit card machine waiting for me on the way out.
In 2021, I went in to get my imprint done to get noise reduction earplugs for musician but the imprint was not usable. This means I would have to drive again from Whistler to Squamish to get it done again. It took me a while to rebook an appointment. When I did recently, I asked what the price of the earplugs would be and the price given was the same as I was quoted in 2021. I was happy with that and came down to Squamish to get the imprint done. When I started talking to the audiologist, the price of the earplugs was 75% higher than told over the phone. I was shocked, explained that I took the appointment based on a much lower cost. I also asked for a discount to compensate me for wasting my time and money due the poor imprint in the past, but I was told no discount were possible. The audiologist was unapologetic for the poor service and I didn’t feel comfortable dealing with this person, so I left. I do not recommend their services.
Amy fit my Grandfather with hearing aids about 6 months ago, and the difference we as a family have noticed is incredible. My Grandfather is so much happier, and more involved in conversation. We were all nervous, as hearing aids are not a "fun" thing to need, but Amy and her team made the process so easy. I highly recommend!!
