Irene Nicholaou
My name is Irene Nicholaou, and I am a passionate audiologist who has been practicing in the field for more than a decade. I graduated with honours from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science, specializing in the biological sciences. Microbiology was a passion of mine. I went on to graduate from Western University with a Master’s in Clinical Science in Audiology. I am a strong believer in advocating for a healthy lifestyle, so patients can live well, into life’s later years. Hearing health is a part of overall healthcare and providing the best patient-focused experience is what I strive for everyday! Using an extensive battery of tests, including a cognitive screening device, a hearing aid is carefully selected based on the clients individual needs to optimize performance and hearing aid outcome. This extensive battery also gives insight into whether or not appropriate referrals need to be made. You will not feel rushed and I will take the time needed to ensure all your questions are answered. I hope you to meet you soon!
