HearingLife - Steinbach

Karina Izbizky joined the EHC team in 2008 and demonstrates not just a desire to help improve a person's hearing, but also to improve their ability to communicate with their friends and loved ones.

Having a family member with a hearing impairment motivated Karina at a very early age to work in the hearing healthcare field. She understands first-hand the impact that communication challenges can have on a person's quality of life if left untreated.

Karina earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Iberoamerica University of Columbia. Karina has worked extensively with the Deaf and hard of hearing community, where she gained vast knowledge and experience in counselling and rehabilitation for those with hearing impairments or hearing loss.

She has received her Level 6 in American Sign Language and is a full member of the Manitoba Speech and Hearing Association and the Canadian Academy of Audiology.

D'Arcy began her carrier in healthcare seeking a degree in nursing. After joining the Enhanced Hearing Centres team in 2009 as administrative support, D'Arcy's drive to help others shifted her attention from nursing to hearing healthcare.

D'Arcy graduated with honours from Grant MacEwan's Hearing Instrument Specialist program in 2012, and is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Her passion for helping others has made her an excellent addition to our team.

Outside of clinic, D'Arcy is an avid player of curling, enjoys camping and the outdoors, and playing with her dog, Quazzy.

Trisha has been a member of the Enhanced Hearing Centres team since 2009, and practices at our Steinbach clinic.

Trisha graduated with honours from the Grant MacEwan University Hearing Aid Practitioner program in 2011, and is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist. Trisha came into the hearing healthcare field with a drive to not just change, but to improve people's lives.

Trisha brings not only knowledge and skill to her work, but also a deep passion and enthusiasm for helping others. She will be happy to meet you and your loved ones at your next appointment at our Steinbach clinic.
