Clinical Doctorate Audiology

Charlotte Douglas has over 33 years of experience in the hearing industry and has practiced audiology in both the public and more recently private practice sector.

Charlotte completed her Master of Science in audiology at the University of British Columbia and later earned her Clinical Doctorate Au.D. in audiology at Central Michigan University in 2011. She opened Hear2Understand Audiology Services in 2018.

Her areas of special interest include early hearing detection and intervention, central auditory processing, tinnitus and sound tolerance. Charlotte is additionally certified in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and Vestibular Evaluation and Management. She is an active clinical instructor, teaching audiology programs in Canada and the U.S.

Hannah McLeod,
Au.D. Reg Sk

Clinical Doctorate Audiology

Hannah McLeod obtained her Clinical Doctorate in audiology from Utah State University, and has practiced in both Canada and the US. Hannah has a special interest in vestibular audiology, and spent two years at the American Institute of Balance in Florida as a clinician and clinical educator, before returning to Canada.

Hannah holds a SAC Clinical Certification, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and is ABA Board Certified in Audiology (US).

Tavia Hoenecke,
Au.D.

Clinical Doctorate Audiology

Tavia Hoenecke completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders at Minot State University and graduated with her Clinic Doctorate (AuD) from the University of Northern Colorado in 2022. She also completed certification in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy.

Tavia loves working with people and is excited to provide patient-centered care to clients of all ages.

Sheri Webb

Receptionist

Sheri Webb holds a diploma in Health Record Administration. She is our part-time receptionist and has been with us since 2023.

With extensive experience in Health Information Services across Saskatoon and Regina, her most recent role was as the coordinator of Health Records for the Alvin Buckwold Child Development Program at the Kinsmen Childrens Centre. 

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, crafting, and spending time at the farm and the lake.
