Owner and Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner

After experiencing hearing loss in her immediate family, Alissa Horneland was inspired by the attentive and dedicated care that her family received from their hearing health professionals. She decided to go into hearing care to provide the same type of care that helped her family. 

Alissa graduated from the Hearing Aid Practitioner Program at MacEwan University in 2011 and is certified with both the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS) and the College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta (CHAPA).

Registered Audiologist

Dr. Raeanna G. Rowswell obtained her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from A.T. Still University: Arizona School of Health Sciences. She currently works as a private audiology consultant for several organizations and is an instructor at MacEwan University.

She is registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA). She holds membership with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and the Alberta Association of Audiologists (AAofA).

Before moving to Alberta, Dr. Rowswell worked in Saskatchewan, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut in public health and hospital settings. She has extensive clinical experience and has worked with multicultural populations.
