“Both of us purchased our hearing aids at Hearing Life. They were always pleasant to deal with. We live about an hour out of Brandon & are seniors who don’t often get to town. We had never been advised about their changes in hours for drop ins. We always assumed we’d be welcomed as we’d been told just to drop in to pick up any supplies needed. A while ago, we stopped in & were treated rudely telling us no walks in until 1 pm, not even a friendly hello! We were stunned but I pursued with my request for supplies as we’d driven a long way with not so great road conditions. She finally gave us what we needed but I got the message she really didn’t want to do it. No matter what you’re feeling in your day, you never take it out on your clients, after all, if it wasn’t for us, you wouldn’t have a job! I’ve worked in the service industry most of my life & treating people this way is just not professional. We will go elsewhere to collect our needs. This new rule you have in place is pure nonsense, you are a business who are there to provide an ongoing service to your clients. We spent thousands of dollars to buy hearing aids from you only to have treatment like we & others have apparently had as well, that should never happen. Huge disappoint for many. I wasn’t going to write this review but my heart & mind wouldn’t allow it. We deserve better service than what we endured from this experience. Truly very disheartened by the rudeness we experienced. I can tell you how this event should have been handled, but what’s the point? You need to learn how to treat people properly. No need to respond, the damage is done, we will NOT be returning to this place of business.”
